Position Title – Department: Cyber Security Specialist – Information Technology (IT)

Job Location: Head Office, Dolmen City, Clifton – Karachi
EDUCATIONAL, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor/Masters Degree in the field of Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or related roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches, and network security protocols
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or other similar platforms
- Experience with ethical hacking tools such as Metasploit, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, and other relevant software
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform security assessments and penetration tests on Windows environments, virtualized systems, networks, and web applications
- Implement security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls
- Monitor constantly for attacks and run appropriate defensive protocols if a breach occurs
- Maintain quality service by following organization standard
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
