Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications using modern web development technologies.
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with 2-3 years of experience.
- Develop, customize and design Shopify store UI, UX and other elements to reflect the approved overall store design (mobile & desktop)
- Customize purchased Shopify store themes based on project requirements
- Develop seamless connections with 3rd party platform APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize the store for peak efficiency and functionality
- Build an interactive, engaging, competent Shopify store to boost sales and increase revenue
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Enhance store performance by regularly testing and debugging, to identify areas for improvement
- Boost conversions by properly optimizing the website.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is preferred.
- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Express.js, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design, mobile-first design, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Perform routine updates to website content, including text, images, and video
- Ensure website is optimized for search engines (SEO)
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure website updates meet quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
