Officer/Technician Chemical – Turbine

The ideal candidate should have the following qualification, experience and skill sets:

DAE/B-Tech in Mechanical Minimum 5-7 years of experience in any Power generation, water treatment, chemical process industries, and utilities sector specifically in chemical water treatment systems.
Strong background in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of water treatment equipment.
Experience with steam-water cycle chemistry, demineralization, reverse osmosis (RO), condensate polishing, and cooling water treatment.
Familiarity with thermal power plant processes, water quality standards, and environmental compliance.
Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, dosing systems, filtration units, and chemical handling.

The main responsibilities of the position will involve:

In-depth understanding of water treatment processes, including filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange, demineralization, and chemical dosing systems
Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting pumps, valves, heat exchangers, dosing systems in water treatment.
Knowledge of corrosion control, scaling prevention, and chemical treatment protocols in thermal power plants.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in water treatment equipment.
Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations related to chemical handling and wastewater treatment.
