Bank Alfalah Limited is currently looking for Lead the Data Science Department in establishing advanced analytics infrastructure, talent acquisition, and development to enhance data-driven decision-making across the bank, especially in Digital Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Banking Integration: Drive the alignment of data science initiatives with digital banking strategies to ensure data-driven decision-making and enhance customer experience.
Annual Planning: Develop and monitor the department’s yearly roadmap, aligning goals with the bank’s broader digital objectives.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a high-performance, collaborative work environment while reporting updates, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and monitor financial adherence to optimize resources.
Policy and Process Optimization: Recommend policy improvements, ensuring compliance while enhancing service quality.
Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement areas, adopting best practices to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
Model and Analytics Development: Oversee model creation, training, and implementation to support decision-making, research, and cross-functional analytics.
Data Engineering and Analytics Setup: Build analytics databases, manage data ingestion, and set up a robust BI and Big Data infrastructure.
Customer-Centric Analytics: Use consumer insights for contextual marketing, customer acquisition, and engagement, optimizing customer journey experiences.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Experience: 6+ years in business intelligence, data mining, or data-driven initiatives, preferably in banking.
Skills: Expertise in data science, BI, and IT, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and a knack for managing BI/analytics projects effectively.
