Job Opportunities – AJK Information Technology Board

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Information Technology Board is inviting applications for the following contract-based positions under the project “E-Office for Secretariat Offices & All Attached Departments in AJK” and miscellaneous grant. All appointments will be made on open merit.

1. Senior Manager Database & Operations

Vacancies: 01
Salary Package: PKR 200,000/- (Miscellaneous Grant)
Qualification: BS (CE/SE/CS) or MS (CS/CE/SE) or equivalent degree in IT/Computer Science.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- At least 5 years in a government organization managing large-scale databases.
- Expertise in high-availability solutions, disaster recovery, clustering, replication, and failover.
- Proven ability in project management, documentation, budgeting, and cost forecasting.

2. Senior Software Developer

Vacancies: 01
Salary Package: PKR 250,000/-
Qualification: MCS/BS (CS/CE/SE) or relevant IT degree from an HEC-recognized or foreign university.
Experience:
- At least 5 years in object-oriented programming, analysis and design.
- Skilled in PHP Laravel, Yii Framework, Angular JS.
- Proficient in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- Experience managing 5–10 core software projects.

3. Software Developer

Vacancies: 02
Salary Package: PKR 200,000/-
Qualification: MCS/BS (CS/CE/SE) or relevant IT degree from an HEC-recognized or foreign university.
Experience:
- At least 2 years in software development.
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MVC, Angular, and Typescript.
- Skilled in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- Experience handling 3–5 projects.

4. IT Assistant

Vacancies: 01
Salary Package: PKR 60,000/-
Qualification: BS (CS/SE) or IT-related graduation from HEC-recognized University.
Typing Speed: Minimum 40 W.P.M.
Experience: 2 years in data entry within a government, local, or foreign organization.
