WE’RE HIRING! ASSISTANT MANAGER – SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE (SQA) ENGINEER
Grade/Position:
- OGI
Academic Qualification:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related field
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure strict adherence to the IT governance standards as per SBP regulations and ABG guidelines 1 Â
- Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify, report, and track defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development to ensure the quality of software products.
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results
- Communicate test results, defects and other relevant information to stakeholders
- To any other duties, as required by the bank
Core Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- ISTQB, CSTE or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with automated testing tools are a plus
