Role Description

This is a full-time on site role for a Sales Promoter at TECNO Mobiles Qatar. The Sales Promoter will focus on driving product awareness and sales for TECNO’s mobile phone and smart device brands, engaging with customers through online channels and virtual events. Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, answering customer inquiries, and providing guidance to support purchasing decisions. The role also involves coordinating with sales and marketing teams to implement promotion campaigns, collecting customer feedback, and reporting on sales performance and market trends. The Sales Promoter is expected to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and stay up to date on product updates and operating system features.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

SO increase: Increase sales of key products and achieve monthly sales tasks.
Market information: Collect data collection and market feedback from competitors.
Inventory follow up and uploading into system: Upload sales and inventory information in the system every day.

Requirements

Must have more than 1- or 2-years’ experience from mobile industry/any electronic field experience.
Must speak fluent English and Arabic. Excellent communication skills to provide product information clearly, answer customer queries and persuade potential buyers to make informed purchase decisions.
Must have diploma or bachelors’ degree in any subject.
Ability to engage with customers effectively, understand their needs and promote mobile products and services while selling.
In-depth knowledge of mobile devices, features, specifications and service plans offer by company to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, create positive interactions and establish relationships that foster trust and loyalty. Knowledge of various sales techniques such as product demonstrations to enhance sales performances and meet targets, profeciency with using mobile devices to demonstrate product features and functionalities to customers.
Capability to collaborate effectively with store staff or other brand promoters and ensuring a cohesive approach to sales and customer engagement, making professional appearance and presentation of products to create a positive impression on customers.
Prior experience in consumer electronics, mobile phones, or retail sales is an advantage.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
Comfort using online communication tools, CRM systems, and digital sales platforms.
