Minimum Qualification: MS or M. Phil. (first division) in English or equivalent qualification (after completion of eighteen years education) from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission with no third division in the academic career.
Note: In case of higher qualification, the condition of third division shall not be applicable.

Note:

Interested applicants must apply through the online Job Portal of the University of Gujrat (jobs.uog.edu.pk). The online Job Application Form, along with all required documents, must be submitted on or before 10-11-2026, after depositing the prescribed processing fee. In addition, hard copies of the same application, along with all supporting documents, must reach the Office of the Registrar on or before 12-11-2026. Applications received after the stipulated deadlines, either online or in hard form, shall not be entertained. Once submitted, the online application cannot be edited or modified under any circumstances.
Processing Fee: The prescribed processing fee shall be deposited through the auto-generated challan form. The original paid challan receipt must be attached with the hard copy of the respective application form. Applicants are advised to deposit the fee through Bank of Punjab (BOP) using the prescribed bank challan, as payments made through 1-Bill/1-Link via mobile or ATM applications may result in reversal, bounce-back, or unsuccessful processing. In case of reversal, failure, or non-receipt of the processing fee in the University’s account, the University shall not be responsible, and the application shall be liable to rejection under the category “No Processing Fee”.
Applicants are required to submit One (01) copy of complete dossier (duly signed). The dossier must include a printed copy of the online application form along with all uploaded credentials, i.e., attested copies of Degrees and both sides of Result Cards/Transcripts/Detail Marks Certificates (DMCs) (only verified Degrees/Transcripts from HEC/Boards, etc.), first page of publication(s)/article(s), Experience Certificate(s), Employment Verification Proforma(s) (EVPs) duly verified by the respective employer(s) (where applicable), NOC (if required), Domicile, and CNIC. The application must be complete in all respects and submitted through postal/courier service/by hand. Eligibility in all respects shall be reckoned up to the closing date (Online Form Submission) i.e. 10-11-2026.
Applicants are advised to carefully read all the terms and conditions of the advertisement before submitting their online applications. Incomplete or incorrect applications, discrepancies in hard copy documents, incorrect online information, or submission of false or concealed information shall lead to disqualification.
Submission of the Job Application in both formats (online and hard copy) is mandatory. Applications not submitted in both forms shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected without further notice.
Applicants applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post. The name of the post applied for must be clearly written on the top right side of the envelope.
Applicants working on Regular / Acting Charge / Officiating / Ad-hoc / Current Charge / Contract basis in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies (including employees of the University of Gujrat) must apply through proper channel and attach NOC (issued by the Appointing Authority or Authorized Officer) along with Experience Certificate(s) issued by their present and former Appointing Authority/Head of Institution/Organization or Authorized Officer; otherwise, their application shall be considered incomplete and liable to rejection.
All claimed experience (where applicable) shall only be considered if the applicant produces documentary evidence duly verified/attested, signed and stamped by the respective Appointing Authority, as per the Employment Verification Proforma (EVP) available on the University of Gujrat website along with the subject advertisement.
Experience in private entities shall only be accepted if such entities are duly registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other relevant Regulatory Authority/Body/Council.
Experience gained on daily wages, part-time, visiting, honorary, adjunct or apprentice basis shall not be considered.
Applications of candidates whose results have not been officially announced by the Controller of Examinations of a Board/University on or before the closing date shall not be considered.
Applicants possessing domestic/foreign degrees, diplomas, or certificates requiring equivalence with the prescribed qualification(s) for the advertised post, must attach the relevant equivalence certificate issued by the competent authority (e.g., HEC / PEC / Inter Boards Chairman Committee, etc.). Failure to provide the required equivalence certificate shall result in the cancellation of candidature.
The University shall not be responsible for delays in receiving application forms, call letters for tests/interviews, or offer/appointment letters due to courier or postal service lapses.
Quotas for minorities, persons with disabilities, and women shall be observed in accordance with Government rules. Applicants applying under these quotas must clearly indicate the relevant quota in their application. In case no suitable candidate is recommended against the quota posts, such posts may be filled on open merit, as per rules.
The University reserves the right not to fill any post or to withhold appointments against any advertised post without assigning any reason. The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per the requirements of the University.
The selected candidates may be posted or transferred to any campus of the University in the Morning or Evening shift as required.
