Position: Assistant Service Engineer (Contractual) – Elevator

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on elevators, escalators.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults and carry out repairs.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and equipment breakdowns.
Conduct safety inspections and functional testing of equipment.
Replace or repair defective parts, including motors, controllers, sensors, cables, and door systems.
Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment condition, repair requirements, and maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and technical support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Recommend equipment upgrades and modernization solutions to improve reliability and performance.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.

Required Qualifications
DAE Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or service engineering.

Strong understanding of elevator control systems, motors, drives, and safety devices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for electrical and mechanical systems.

Location: Karachi.
