International Packaging Films Limited Jobs Head of R&D:

Organization:

International Packaging Films Limited is hiring a “𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗥&𝗗” to support operations at its Lahore & Sheikhupura based facility.

Key responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:

• Develop and lead the organization’s R&D strategy for packaging films, product innovation, process optimization, and technology development aligned with business objectives
• Direct the development, evaluation, and commercialization strategy for new film structures, formulations, coatings, and packaging solutions to meet customer and market requirements
• Approve and oversee product trials, pilot runs, industrial validations, and commercialization activities while ensuring technical and commercial feasibility
• Lead technical performance reviews and identify strategic product and process improvement opportunities using analytical and customer feedback data
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, and Technical Services to accelerate commercialization and innovation
• Establish raw material qualification strategy and approve technical validation of new resins, additives, and alternative materials
• Drive technical investigations for recurring quality issues and develop long-term product and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and lead sustainability strategy including recyclable packaging, downgauging, circular economy initiatives, and carbon footprint reduction projects
• Lead technology scouting, competitive benchmarking, customer trend analysis, and identification of future innovation opportunities
• Ensure all developed products comply with customer requirements, food safety regulations, applicable international standards, and sustainability commitments

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience
