We are looking for an experienced and vision-driven leader who shall oversee all production sections including Bodyshop, Paint shop and Assembly. The incumbent will manage all production engineering functions (body, paint & assembly) along with budgeting, develop and review SOPs/KPIs across plant production departments and lead new project planning at site. Key responsibilities include supervising plant line layout changes, tooling/equipment installation, trial assembly and assembly process inspections for new models. The candidate will also ensure production forecasting, maintain high quality and yield rates through cross-functional troubleshooting, enhance efficiency and report to the Head/Sr. GM Plant Production.

Qualifications:

Bachelors of Engineering/BSc or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.

Requirements:

12–15+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in automotive OEM / vehicle assembly operations
Hands-on expertise in BIW, OEM Paint Shop, Assembly processes and TPS/Lean principles
Excellent analytical, leadership, strategic planning, and report presentation skills (KPIs/OEE/Root Cause Analysis)
Demonstrated experience in manpower planning, shop-floor budget management and cost-reduction strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and plant management software tool.
