Position: Assistant Manager Information Technology
- Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
- Location: Islamabad
About the Role
Manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure while helping design and implement AI-powered solutions. The role requires experience in systems, networks, cloud, cybersecurity, and end-user support, along with knowledge of AI, automation, APIs, and solution development. The ideal candidate will turn business needs into secure, scalable IT and AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily IT operations, including servers, networks, devices, software, email, storage, and backups.
- Evaluate emerging AI, automation, and cloud technologies to identify business improvement opportunities.
- Gather requirements and develop practical AI solutions, automations, assistants, and proof-of-concepts.
- Design, test, deploy, and maintain AI solutions such as chatbots, knowledge assistants, and automated workflows.
- Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases, and existing systems while ensuring security and reliability.
- Support the Lead IT with AI integrations and IT projects, including development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, AI, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-6 Years in IT and related fields.
Technical Competencies
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, security, backups, and databases.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, APIs, and Git.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and cloud.
- Experience in vendor and asset management.
