BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co., is looking for an “Assistant Manager – Human Resources” for the Gharo Plant.

Qualifications: BBA, MBA, or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR operations, workforce management, and employee relations, preferably in a plant or industrial manufacturing environment.

Location: Gharo Plant.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations at the plant, ensuring seamless employee lifecycle management and providing timely HR support to the workforce. The role involves serving as the primary HR contact at the plant, overseeing attendance and leave administration, maintaining employee records, and managing smooth onboarding and offboarding transitions in line with company procedures.

The individual will coordinate seamlessly with COE teams to facilitate the implementation of plant-level HR initiatives, policies, training programs, and employee engagement activities. Additionally, they will handle employee relations matters, provide first-level HR support, resolve workplace grievances, and support workforce planning and manpower tracking.

Notably, the role includes preparing and maintaining accurate HR documentation for labour audits, ensuring strict compliance with labour laws, company policies, and internal HR procedures while reporting key metrics to the Head Office.

Strong conflict-resolution skills, HR operational acumen, and high analytical capability are essential, along with a proactive attitude, sound knowledge of labour compliance, and strong cross-functional coordination to foster a consistent and positive employee experience.
