MCB Islamic Bank is inviting applications for the position of “Unit Head – Screening & AML Reporting”.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Unit Head – Screening & AML Reporting

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Lahore

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Master’s degree in Finance, Business from recognized University

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀

➡️ Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Sanction Screening, AML/CFT or Compliance within the banking /financial services sector.
➡️ Solid understanding of global sanctions frameworks and watch list management systems.
➡️ Hands-on experience with sanction screening tools (e.g., FircoSoft, Accuity, Dow Jones, etc.).
➡️ Strong analytical, leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
➡️ Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

➡️ Lead and manage the Screening team to ensure timely and accurate screening of customers, transactions, and counter-parties.
➡️ Oversee daily operations of name screening, payment screening, and watch list management.
➡️ Develop, update and enforce sanction screening policies, procedures and controls.
➡️ Review and resolve escalated alerts, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.
➡️ Monitor changes in global sanctions regimes (e.g., UN, OFAC, EU, UK and local regulators) and ensure timely system updates.
➡️ Ensure effective functioning of screening system in line with regulatory guidelines and internal requirements.
➡️ Coordinate with internal stakeholders on sanctions-related queries and investigations.
➡️ Prepare periodic reports for senior management and regulators.
➡️ Deliver ongoing training and awareness sessions on screening protocols and sanctions compliance.
➡️ Ensure timely and accurate reporting of FATCA/CRS.
➡️ Supervise and manage reporting OF STR/CTRs in line with regulatory requirements.
➡️ Review of Closed account/ Top 100 Depositors.
