Job Summary
Gourmet Pakistan is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations for pesticides and fertilizers across the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in agrochemical sales, channel development, distributor management, and farmer engagement, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team.
- Build and strengthen distributor, dealer, and retailer networks.
- Drive product promotions, field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy credit control.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Coordinate closely with marketing, technical, and supply chain teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- 7–8 years of progressive sales experience in pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, or agrochemicals.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial.
- Strong understanding of crop cycles, agronomy practices, and rural markets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage large territories and distributor networks.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
