JOB TITLE: Manager – Procurement & Inventory

Job Description:

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best quality, pricing and delivery terms.
Manage end-to-end procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier selection and contract management.
Monitor supplier performance and establish long-term strategic partnerships.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to support sales demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Develop and manage inventory forecasting, replenishment planning and stock allocation strategies.
Monitor stock movement, inventory aging, slow-moving items and obsolete inventory.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and ethical sourcing standards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement efficiency initiatives.
Conduct regular inventory audits, stock reconciliations and cycle counts.
Ensure inventory accuracy across warehouses, retail outlets and online sales channels.
Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and warehouse teams for demand planning and inventory optimization.
Track inbound shipments and ensure timely availability of products.
Manage documentation, logistics coordination and supplier delivery schedules where applicable.
Analyze supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for supply disruptions.
Prepare procurement and inventory performance reports for management review.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) including inventory turnover, stock accuracy, order fulfillment rates, supplier lead times and procurement savings.
Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and process improvements.
Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

Candidate Must Have:

MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
7–8 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Inventory Management and Supply Chain.
Experience in Retail, FMCG, Fashion, Watches or E-Commerce industries, will be preferred.
