Position: Senior Accounts Executive Payables

Location: Lahore

Role Objective

To lead the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, effective vendor management, and timely completion of month-end activities in compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team for efficient and accurate processing of invoices.
Invoice Management: Review, verify, and post payable invoices with proper documentation and approvals.
Vendor Management: Monitor vendor payment schedules, ensure adherence to credit terms, and oversee vendor ledger reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Manage payable aging, highlight overdue balances, and prepare monthly CAPEX and OPEX reports.
Month-End Activities: Ensure timely monthly closing, tracking and clearing pending items, and supervising booking of accruals and prepayments.
Audits & Compliance: Review employee expense claims, medical reimbursements, and petty cash. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure strong internal controls.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and financial controls.
Sound understanding of accruals, prepayments, and month-end closing.
Technical: Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and leadership abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: ACCA (Qualified / Part Qualified – Preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance.
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
Experience in managing payables, audits, and financial reporting.
