WE’RE HIRING: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Location: Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Head Office, North Nazimabad Karachi
JOB SUMMARY
To ensure uninterrupted electrical supply and maintenance of all electrical systems within the hospital. The Electrical Technician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure backup system (generators/UPS) are functional.
- Maintain electrical panels and wiring systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.
- Identify risk and recommend solutions.
- Participate in preventive maintenance planning.
- Assist in audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with other department for maintenance work.
- Report unnecessary expenses or losses.
- Support budget control initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance.
- Ability to read electrical drawing and schematics.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Academic Qualifications: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical.
- Professional Qualifications: Certification in Electrical Safety or Industrial wiring, and knowledge of hospital electrical system preferred.
- Working Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
