Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Manager – Dispatch
Location: Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan
Thal Boshoku Pakistan is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Dispatch to oversee and manage the dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery, process accuracy and optimal coordination between production, logistics and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and intercompany units.
- Coordinate with production, planning, logistics and sales teams to manage delivery schedules and dispatch priorities.
- Monitor loading and unloading processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and analyze dispatch documentation, shipment records and system entries for accuracy and traceability.
- Optimize dispatch processes through continuous improvement initiatives and data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and customer requirements.
- Lead and train dispatch team members to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related discipline).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in dispatch, logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing or automotive setup.
- Strong understanding of dispatch planning, logistics coordination and documentation procedures.
- Proficient in ERP/supply chain systems and MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills with a strong focus on teamwork and problem-solving.

Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Manager Part Development
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Thal Engineering is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager – Part Development to support the timely development of parts for assemblies and sub-assemblies of automobiles within the Thermal Systems Business. The role ensures that developed parts meet quality and cost objectives with minimal material wastage, while guiding vendors to continuously improve part quality and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time development and monitoring of new and current model local parts as per the master plan.
- Study and review engineering cost estimations of new parts to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain the most suitable quotations.
- Conduct vendor visits as and when required to ensure process compliance and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QA team to conduct annual re-evaluations of vendors.
- Ensure vendor participation in Thal’s QCC Convention and other improvement programs.
- Achieve Kaizen submission targets as per defined objectives.
- Conduct internal audits of departments to ensure ISO standards compliance.
- Manage Engineering Change Information (ECI) and ensure proper documentation and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / DAE (Mechanical).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in plant engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, instrumentation and automation.
- Proven hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
