Qualification ACCA Part Qualified / CA Part Qualified / M.COM / MBA / LLB
Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
Location Bhurban, Murree
Responsibilities / Skills :
- Lead the overall taxation domain, ensuring compliance with day-to-day changes in tax regulations.
- Attend routine hearings for general tax matters before the taxation officers of the relevant authorities.
- Handle monthly sales tax filings and ensure accurate calculation of tax liabilities.
- Maintain complete and organized tax records, including invoices, exemption certificates, notices, assessment orders, and withholding income tax records.
- Assist external auditors with income tax and sales tax issues.
- Maintain close liaison with the accounts payable team for the verification of income tax and sales tax deductions from payments, in accordance with tax laws. File quarterly and annual withholding tax statements via the IRIS portal.
- Reconcile tax records with accounting records on a monthly basis and as needed.
- Should possess leadership qualities along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- He / She must fully understand relevant tax legislation as well as corporate tax compliance and planning.
