Available Positions

1. Professor (Contract & DoH – 06 Positions)

Departments:
- Contract Basis: Anatomy, Pathology, Histopathology or Hematology, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, ENT, Radiology.
- Department of Health (DoH): Gynae/Obs, Pediatrics.
Pay Package:
- Contract Basis: PKR 4,25,000/month.
- DoH: Teaching allowance subject to budgetary provision.

2. Associate Professor (Contract & DoH – 06 Positions)

Departments:
- Contract Basis: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pathology (Histopathology/Hematology), ENT, Anesthesia.
- Department of Health (DoH): Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiology.
Pay Package:
- Contract Basis: PKR 3,25,000/month.
- DoH: Teaching allowance subject to budgetary provision.

3. Assistant Professor (Contract & DoH – 04 Positions)

Departments:
- Contract Basis: Anatomy, Pharmacology, Community Medicine.
- Department of Health (DoH): Gynae/Obs, Anesthesia, Accident & Emergency.
Pay Package:
- Contract Basis: PKR 2,25,000/month.
- DoH: Teaching allowance subject to budgetary provision.

4. Senior Registrar (DoH – 14 Positions)

Departments: Nephrology, Gynae/Obs, ENT, Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Gastroenterology.
Pay Package: Without teaching allowance (only for experience purposes).

Terms & Conditions

✔ Appointments are on contract basis as per Contract Policy 2006 of Govt. of AJK for an initial 3-year period (extendable).
✔ Number of posts may increase or decrease as per requirement.
✔ Selection based on merit following PM&DC and institutional rules.
✔ Contracts may be terminated with 30 days’ notice or one month’s salary in lieu of notice.
✔ Monthly salary is subject to tax deduction as per law.
✔ Age limit as per Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) rules.
✔ Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews (No TA/DA).
✔ Original documents must be presented during the interview.
✔ Preference will be given to state subject holders.
✔ Separate applications with complete documents required for each vacancy.

Attested copies of educational certificates (Matric, Intermediate, MBBS, M.Phil, FCPS, PhD, etc.).
Experience certificates and eligibility certification (if required).
Updated CV with a cover letter specifying the applied post, eligibility criteria, and personal details.
Valid PMC/PM&DC registration certificate.
Copy of CNIC, Domicile, and PRC (if applicable).

For Department of Health (DoH) Candidates

✔ DoH employees or those working in teaching hospitals must apply through proper channels with approval from the Secretary Health Govt. of AJK (Direct applications will not be accepted).
✔ Selected DoH employees will continue drawing salaries from their substantive posts but may receive a teaching allowance based on budgetary provision.
