Position: Lead Planning & Estimation Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Head Office
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 5 Years especially in an EPC company of oil and gas sector (Site execution is a plus)
- Through knowledge and experience of using SAP B1.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
Requirements:
- Possess expertise in budgeting, costing, invoicing and bill of quantities
- Knowledge of civil construction and electrical works shall be a definite plus point.
Responsibilities:
- Rechecking of drawings, calculation material quantities from drawings and preparation of BOQ
- Rechecking of BOQ Rev received in some cases, recheck quantities according to drawings and preparation of final BOQ
- Through study of required material and equipment specifications and get clarifications from design
- Will also be required to calculate Civil, Electrical, Fire Fighting, piping and other material. Preparation of BOQ for Material procurement and Material indenting & forward material indents to supply chain
- Follow up and coordination with supply chain/Procurement department for material delivery and its transportation to site.
- Preparation of BOQ for progress Monitoring.
- Coordinate with design for alternate material approval in case of unavailability of material
- Raise/Generate PRs for procurement of Material and Equipment
- Coordinate with procurement and Keep a track record of issued purchase Orders.
- Coordinate with internal & Client QA/QC Department for inspections
