Applications are invited from dynamic candidates (male/female) having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Newly Merged Districts for the following vacant project posts on a contract basis under PSDP Project Karak. Candidates must meet the educational qualifications, experience, and age limits mentioned for each post.

Positions Available:

Assistant Professor (BPS-18)

Posts: 01
Maximum Age: 45 years
Qualifications: Ph.D., MS, or B.Sc in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling, or Drilling Fluids-related subject from an HEC recognized university. Requires 03, 05, or 08 years of teaching experience in a recognized institution or relevant industry.

Lecturer Drilling and Drilling Fluids (BPS-17)

Posts: 01
Maximum Age: 35 years
Qualifications: BS, B.Sc, or BE in Drilling or Petroleum Engineering (16 years education from an HEC recognized university) with 05 years of experience in teaching or industry, specifically in Oil & Gas sector/industry.

Lecturer Chemical/Petro Chemical (BPS-17)

Posts: 01
Maximum Age: 35 years
Qualifications: BS, B.Sc, or BE in Chemical Engineering (16 years education from an HEC recognized university) with 05 years of experience in teaching Drilling Fluids/Chemical Engineering subjects or relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas sector/industry.

AD Finance (BPS-17)

Maximum Age: 35 years
Qualifications: MBA Finance, ACCA, M.Com or equivalent (16 years education from an HEC recognized university) with 05 years of relevant experience.

AD Development & Works (BPS-17)

Posts: 01
Maximum Age: 35 years
Qualifications: BS, B.Sc, or BE in Civil Engineering (16 years education from an HEC recognized university) with 05 years of relevant experience in planning, design supervision, and monitoring of Building Construction Projects.

AD Academic (BPS-17)

Maximum Age: 35 years
Qualifications: M.Sc, BS, B.Sc, or BE in Geology, Petroleum Engineering (16 years education from an HEC recognized university) with 05 years of relevant experience in the management of educational, technical, or polytechnic institutes.

Instructions & General Conditions:

Applicants must apply using the prescribed application form available on the Institute’s website: www.ipt.edu.pk or obtained from the office of the Admin Officer, Institute of Petroleum Technology, Karak.
Submit a detailed bio-data along with attested/verified copies of all DMCs, degrees, certificates, post-qualification experience certificates, training/certifications, domicile, CNIC, and 02 passport-size photographs via courier before the application deadline.
Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalency certificate from HEC at the time of application.
Applications must reach the provided address within 15 days of the advertisement date. Late, incomplete, or hand-submitted applications will not be considered.
Application processing fee:
- Rs. 3,000 for BPS-18
- Rs. 2,000 for BPS-17
  The fee should be deposited in Bank of Khyber (Account No. 2009094353, Branch 0049) or via bank draft in favor of the Project Director, Institute of Petroleum Technology, Karak.
Attach the original fee deposit slip or demand draft to the application form.
Government or Semi-Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
The applicant’s maximum age will be calculated as of the closing date.
Shortlisting will be done according to the Project Policy, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be provided.
Appointments are on merit and are project-based at Karak.
The authority reserves the right to cancel or alter the advertisement process without providing a reason.
Appointments will follow the approved PC-I/Project Policy (Salary & Perks) and availability of funds.
Use a separate envelope and fee deposit slip for each position. Clearly mention the post title on the envelope.
Errors or omissions are subject to rectification by the Institute.
