VACANCY POSITIONS

The Ministry of Information Broadcasting, Islamabad requires services of qualified, energetic, experienced, and motivated individuals for appointment against the following Project Position Scale Policy on a contract basis:

1. Deputy Director (IT)

Pay Scale: PPS-08
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: 1st Class or Grade ‘B’ Master’s degree in Computer Science/BCS (04 years) IT/Computing, Electronics, or equivalent.
Experience: 10 years of experience, out of which 5 years must be post-qualification experience in Project Management, ICT, LAN, web, or software.
Age: 45 years

2. Technical Assistant

Pay Scale: PPS-06
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS, Commerce, Arts, or Computer Engineering Management or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of experience, out of which 2 years should be in design, installation, and maintenance of local area Networks (LAN/WAN) at a local or foreign organization of good repute.
Age: 40 years

3. IT Assistant

Pay Scale: PPS-05
No. of Posts: 02
Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science recognized by the Higher Education Commission, OR a 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a one-year diploma in computer science/Information technology from a recognized board of technical education.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience.
Age: 18-25 years

4. Data Entry Operator

Pay Scale: PPS-05
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics from a university recognized by the HEC. Minimum typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour for data entry/verification.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience.
Age: 18-25 years

5. Upper Division Clerk

Pay Scale: PPS-04
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: Intermediate with a minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m. A 3-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the lower grade.
Age: 18-25 years

6. Dispatch Rider

Pay Scale: PPS-01
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: Primary pass. Must have a valid driving license and be well-versed in traffic rules.
Age: 18-30 years
