POSITION: Manager (Accounts, Budgeting & Taxation)
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 – 7 years of experience
QUALIFICATION: CA Qualified/finalist
LOCATION: Karachi, Pakistan
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Preparation of quarterly and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and IFRS accounting standards.
- Manage the monthly closing of books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and half-yearly reviews.
- MIS. Develop and maintain management reports that provide insights into financial performance, key metrics, and trends.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budget, consolidation of departmental budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance.
- Review and ensure accurate reporting of taxation matters, including income tax, sales tax, FED and related statutory requirements.
- Supervise & review the preparation & submission of monthly sales tax returns & FED and quarterly advance income tax.
