Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The Finance Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
· Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
· Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
· Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes.
· Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.
· Assist with audits and regulatory inspections.
· Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
· Implement best practices to streamline accounting processes.
· Work cross-functionally to enhance financial controls and reporting accuracy.
· Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
· Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
· Present financial insights to management clearly and concisely.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA) is preferred.
· 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
· Strong understanding of Pakistani accounting standards and tax regulations.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
