Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited is looking for IFRS – 9 Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing production of IFRS 9 expected credit loss using ECL Engine whilst providing insight and analytical commentary to allow KMBL’s senior management to make informed decisions and comply with regulatory and internal reporting.
- Developing IFRS 9 related documentation including IFRS 9 policy, ECL methodology, assessment criteria and validation reports.
- Take lead in developing additional IFRS 9 ECL models and/or PD/LGD scorecards using IFRS 9 application should the Bank widen its product offering.
- Enhancing IFRS 9 model monitoring and management information reports to allow KMBL’s senior management to understand new and potentially even more complex products and investments in the future.
- Work with KMBL Finance team to ensure the relevant journal balance movements reconciliations, Management reports and the Bank’s annual report and accounts entries are produced in compliance with IFRS9 and KMBL financial reporting timelines.
- Providing and presenting advanced analytical insights to the business teams and Senior Stakeholders, in addition to explaining new technical concepts when necessary and ensuring that IFRS 9 standards and requirements are cascaded and met across the organization.
- Any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred ACCA / CA Inter/ Finalist, or graduate university degree (typically in business administration, finance, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in management of IFRS 9 related tasks. Previous banking experience or audit firm experience in IFRS 9 implementation would be preferred.
Skills:
- Knowledge of IFRS, accounting and finance principles and financial modeling.
- Strong technical and analytical skills. Highly proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
