Position: Deputy Manager Sourcing
Qualification: BS/MS (SCM) / Equivalent
Experience: 7-8 years

Responsibilities:
-To supervise, mentor and guide the team of vendors and purchase officers to achieve delivery targets.
-To work closely with the collection team to build seasonal product ranges as per company and market requirements.
-To work closely with the collection team and Building seasonal buying plans with liaison to the merchandising and planning department.
-Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for materials, components, and finished products that align with the company’s business objectives.
-Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
-Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing to ensure favorable terms for the company.
-Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, claims, VDN, lead times, or cost.
-Work to optimize costs while maintaining or improving the quality of materials and components.
Collaborate with suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
-Collaborate with quality control and quality assurance teams to ensure that materials and components meet the required quality standards.
Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
-Stay informed about industry trends and global market conditions that may affect sourcing.
-Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, agreements, and performance metrics.
-Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to company stakeholders.
