We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Quality to join our team! If you think you possess the following skills,
Job Description:
- Responsible for release & Quality monitoring of incoming materials as well as finished products related to Cereal plant
- Assist QAM in selection and auditing local supplier
- Maintain implementation of FSSC 22000 standard, WFP Specifications and further strengthen it by continuous improvement
- Assistance to production in QMS preparation of line control activities
- Assessment & auditing of line quality control activities at Cereal plant
- Responsible for Implementation of QMS and monitoring plans of Raw & packaging materials and Finished Products in line with Specifications
- Keep SAP inspection plans up-dated as per QMS (If SAP available)
- Responsible to establish the trends for Cereal product composition and contaminant. Inform deviations to QA manager and initiate CAPA in case of deviation
- To conduct the monthly compliance assessment & report to QA Manager
- Responsible to implement HACCP studies of Cereal lines/ products, their validation & verification
- Responsible for Product quality related complaints handling and assist concerned person to execute corrective actions. Maintain the complaint record and review the trends for continuous improvement
- Responsible to organize Line Lab Sensory evaluation and keeping quality sample evaluation of Cereal products
- Responsible to establish the Net contents report, over filling costs as well as non-quality cost of Cereal products on monthly basis
- Assistance to Production in Route Cause Analysis of Quality Issues occurred on plant
- To participate in Gap assessments and follow up of audit points as required by Internal Quality Auditing Program
- Available to perform any functional/ Cross Functional task assigned by QAM Skills:
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point & MS Word
- Basic and Applied Knowledge of Statistics
- Others soft skills such as planning, organization, decision making, problem solving, influencing others, self- motivation, team spirit, strong follow up
Key Competencies:
- In depth knowledge of Food safety (Microbiology, Physio-Chemical & allergens etc.)
- Good understanding of Extrusion process
- Good leaderships skills
- Good communication skills
- Time Management Skills
- Problem Solving & Decision making
