Sana Safinaz is looking for the position of “Deputy Manager Merchandising – Kids”
Job Role:
- Assigning & analyzing of workload distribution to merchandising staff. Monitoring merchandising activities of all stake holders from fabrication to cutting till goods dispatch.
- Manage proper data storage related to Merchandising from Proto receiving till goods dispatched to Warehouse
- Vendor dealing & rate negotiations that include resource allocation of Printing, Handwork, schiffli, laces etc.
- Endorsing the fabric plans, production orders, and vendor quotations.
- Overseeing the planning and implementation of merchandising strategies.
- Audit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to.
- Daily floors visits to see physical status of related products & resolving on floor issues timely
- Efficient planning of Product, making sure that fabric plans are timely made and executed to relevant departments.
- Regular follow ups with in-house and outsource facilities from cutting, embroidery, printing, CMTs, finishing
- Strong follow up with PD department about Proto & PP samples to execute production timely
- Making sure costing are properly done, checked, endorsed and on par with PD’s costing
- Train Employees on Product Knowledge & process flow
- Team building & performance evaluation of sub ordinates
Job Specification:
Qualification: MBA or Textile Graduate from any reputed University.
Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in relevant field.
Location: S.I.T.E Area – Factory (Karachi)
