The Ministry of Science and Technology with its revitalization plan for National Institute of Electronics needs highly qualified, experienced and energetic professional, to be hired on contract basis as Director General of the Institution. Details of the post is as under:-
Name of Post/Pay Package/Place of Duty: Director General (Equivalent to BS-21), National Institute of Electronics (NIE), Islamabad.
Qualifications: BS/ Master’s/Ph.D Degree in the field of Electronics Technology. Ph.D Degree holder will be preferred.
Experience: An eminent technologist of high repute by virtue of his contributions to the profession of Electronics Engineering and technology with at least 15-years relevant experience.

(i) Management Experience: Experience in relevant field & Administration/Financial Management at senior at level will be preferred.
(ii) Pay and Allowances: Salary (Equivalent to BS-21 officer) along with Perks & Benefits
(iii) Age Limit: 55 Maximum (years on closing date of advertisement)
(iv) Tenure: 03 years contract (extendable for 2 years subject to performance)
(v) Nationality: Pakistani.
(vi) Domicile: Merit
