Arcadian Lab Jobs Concept Artist:
Position open – Concept Artist
- Candidates should have a love for gaming, including PS4 games, Nintendo games and mobile games etc.
- Ability to brainstorm and creatively think about new and unique mobile game ideas
- Create 2D illustrations, concepts and storyboards
- Pitch and implement new ideas and concepts to teams
- To build new methodologies on how to create such successful games
- Understanding of the ever changing mobile/console gaming market
- Ability to illuminate and analyze the mechanics of games
- Strong understanding of how to render a 2D image from concept to final
- Understanding of Motion Design
- Understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya, 3DS-Max
- Ability to create in multiple styles ranging from realistic to cartoony. Ability to create vector art when needed.
- Strong understanding of lighting & form
- Base level understanding of games and how they are made
- Ability to work well within a team
- Understanding of 3D art and/or ability to replicate it in 2D
- Materials Required
- The candidate should provide a portfolio of art that they have created & the studios you have worked with.
