Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/management, Master’s degree in management preferred from a well reputed institute.
4 Years(Have a minimum 4 years work experience (ideally in a mobile network operator). Have ample experience in product management and platform development Project management experience would be an added advantage)
Responsible for developing mobile internet products and platform integration, mobile device and handset management
Execute the full lifecycle of the products and mobile content from concept phase to retirement in an environment of continuous improvement through ownership of the product specifications, business case, development roadmaps and support material.
Drive the execution of product proposition plan and help to take action in order to optimize the product performance in market
Manage existing and upcoming products for their proper development and offering to the customers
Evaluate new opportunities and methods of increasing revenue, assessing their commercial feasibility. Devise roadmap of changes to drive ARPU within the Consumer base.
Oversee the Go To Market process for new initiatives, working with Channel Marketing to exploit multiple revenue opportunities at point of purchase.
Manage Product/Device/Handset roll outs on the network and multiple platforms (Smart phones, feature phones, basic phones etc.) and Operating Systems (Android, iOS, Windows, Symbian etc.)
Ensure smooth operations of products on all types of devices, testing through vendors, 3rdparties, internal operations etc.
Integrate all internal and external products on the network and on the devices/handsets.
Dealing with vendors on a daily basis, ensuring timely delivery of running projects
Sustain relationships with external stakeholders such as strategic partners, new potential suppliers and other 3rd parties to ensure their full support for our products and propositions and monitor their service levels and performance
Manage relationship with internal stakeholders (Segments, Sales, Terminals, Legal, Technology etc) to deliver the product KPIs in given time.
Collaborate with stakeholders teams to gain customer/market insight for new products and product enhancements/redesign and to plan the commercial delivery/launch of the products.
Develop and managing Mobile Internet Content, content Management through vendor to ensure continuous development and offering of mobile content to subscribers and well as Mobile Internet Content Marketing to relevant customer segments
Managing subscriber base and revenues of the segment
Creating business models with handset vendors to increase GPRS handset penetration
– Should have excellent command on Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
– Should have technical understanding for applications and their integration to an operator infrastructure
– Should be a Mobile Internet User and should have knowledge about Key Internet Trends (e.g. Social Media, devices, companies, etc.)
– Should have multi-tasking & planning skills
– Should be a team player, flexible, influential & Information seeking
– Should possess strong analytical, communication & presentation skills
