Job Details: • Ensure the product, package quality remains at the required quality by the organization. Custodian of Quality related records. • To oversee line start-up and shutdown procedures to ensure that the product is within specification • Manage the daily quality reports from the quality control staff and take corrective measure if required. Carry out tests specified in daily quality plans and work plans within the assigned department • Update the corrective actions plan which has been developed after conducting quality audit. • To check accuracy and condition of testing equipment’s on a regular basis and to guide lab staff accordingly. • Ensure date code policy implemented. Retention samples are well kept and records available • Consumer response survey analysis & report to management • Make inspection of incoming raw material. In case of any dissatisfaction rise due to the quality matters pursue the suppliers if required • Ensure the effective Implementation of quality & food safety established systems during production • Ensure compliance of all safety and environment as per established procedures and specifications • In case of nonconformities, inform the authorities, stop production if needed, take required corrective-preventive actions and keep record • Monitor syrup, sugar and concentrate efficiencies daily and during production • Ensure cleaning and sanitation as per company standards • Calibration of all pressure and temperature gauges and devices at plant, internally and externally both. • Ensure washing parameters with company requirements to make all containers fit for filling and ultimate consumptions • To ensure that container inspection procedures are implemented as per company requirements. • To ensure empty receiving from markets as per company requirements • Check that the calibrated devices in intermix device are working, engage and control cooling system, adjust and operate level control device. • Analysis of raw & treated water from external approved Lab as per requirement. • To monitor and control postmix related activities. • To ensure storage conditions – FIFO. • Supporting & facilitating other departments in achieving their targets. • Assignments by seniors. • Implementation of Quality, Food Safety and HSE management system
Qualification: Master degree in Food Science or Chemical Eng.
Required Skills: • Ability to coach, provide training, and qualify key employees from other departments to be internal auditors on GMP standards, hygiene and other quality system requirements. • Hands-on experience of designing and managing the ISO management systems like 9001, 22000, 14001, and 18001 at food manufacturing facility. It includes both internal auditing techniques and documentation requirements. • Good food industry knowledge with particular in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hygiene standards. • WWTP operation & NEQS and other applicable legal and legislative requirements. • Ability to analyze the consumer complaints, oversee root cause analysis & corrective actions and coordinate with Commercial department for consumer & customer satisfaction. • Lead auditor course for ISO standards (ISO-9001 & FSMS-22000).
Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience in Quality assurance/control/food safety in food business.
