5 Years(At least 5 years relevant work experience. Previous experience in same field required)
Previous working experience with a UN agency an asset.
Good communications and interpersonal skills essential;
Excellent drafting and analytical skills required.
Fluency in the official national language (must be one of the 6 UN languages), English/second language and good knowledge of local languages.
IT skillsExcellent knowledge of MS Office, database and Internet use.
Post reports to the National Coordinator GEF SGP Pakistan. He/she is required to assist the GEF SGP secretariat in Projects Monitoring.
General Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Assist the NC in monitoring and Evaluation of the projects.
Maintain working-level contacts with NGOs, governmental institutions, donors, other SGP stakeholders, and participate at events for UNDP SGP information dissemination purposes
Participated in monitoring visits and consultation/s on the review of progress on a quarterly, periodic basis as well as to provide guidance to ensure M&E plans are consistent with the UNDP guidelines and policies.
Coordinate and participate in joint M&E programming exercises/activities with Enhancement and validation of the harmonized M&E tools and instruments
Provide logistical and technical assistance to relevant M&E activities and processes initiated by the UNDP SGP programme Assurance Groups, i.e. Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation orientation sessions, trainings.
Provide auxiliary assistance on conduct of activities in support of Government of the Pakistan-UNDP-SGP management, i.e. National Steering Committee (NSC) meetings Liaise with the UNDP M&E group, UNDP portfolios and implementing partners on the collection and submission of required reports and data on the progress of M&E plans and activities.
To carry out supervisory and monitoring activities in close liaison with the Program Assistant.
To prepare monthly monitoring plan for the coming month and submit monthly field report of previous month. Assist the NC as and when required
