1.To ensure quality of the portfolio is maintained within the parameters specified under policy guidelines and business strategy.
2.Reporting of information relating to the portfolio in timely and accurate manner.
3.Participate in renewal of credit approval documents (CAD).
4.To ensure satisfactory rating in audits.
5.Approve/Recommend/Decline Credit Applications in line with DOA.
6.Participate in credit / risk-related projects.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1.To ensure quality of Limit Applications meet Group and Local Credit Policy standards, particularly with regard to the completeness and depth of risk analysis.
2.Approving of Limit Applications failing within own discretion and support of applications, which require approval beyond self credit delegation.
3.To maintain an optimal mix and volume of loan portfolio of SCBPL relative to target market, its risk appetite, its diversification plan, its concentration limits, a continuous assessment of each industry sector, new and upcoming business opportunities, the general competitive environment, macroeconomic factors, and international affairs, etc.
4.To provide tools and techniques for implementing an effective credit administration and monitoring system.
5.Ensure that expiries, extensions and deferrals are managed as per group guidelines.
6.Ensure proactive monitoring of accounts through EAR, providing corrective measures to key stakeholders for managing accounts showing signals of deterioration.
7.Assist Head of Credit in determining training needs and in arranging for these needs to be met in collaboration with Business and HR.
8.Assist Head of Credit in establishing internal control procedures to effectively audit the credit risk management process.
9.Undertake customer visit where necessary and applicable to ensure credit standards are maintained.
10.Ensure compliance with the Group’s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering and CDD.
11.Participate in and / or support the Bank’s effort in combating money-laundering activities.
12.Ensure QA is carried out as per policy.

Minimum Bachelors Qualification.
