Job Description

  • – Day-to-day management for the GM Central Office, including monitoring and tracking of deliverables, budgets, risk and audit related matters and establishing and maintaining appropriate processes/mechanisms for efficient tracking and monitoring.
  • – Ensuring that the yearly GM Central objectives are being met in a timely and efficient manner
  • – Responsibility for the planning, co-ordination and project management of specific projects and initiatives for the GM Central as required
  • – Assisting in the development, updating and communication of the strategic plans as well as the preparation of paper and presentation to communicate successes
  • – Prepare materials with detail research and updates for action items arising from different meetings as well as management status reports
  • – Coordination with Complaints Management Unit for resolution and tracking of complaints received directly by the GM Central Office
  • – Act as a coordinator for Regional ManCom of Central region by arranging regular meetings, preparation of agenda, tracking of action items etc.
  • – Strong support to the GM Central on all matters relating to the Regions.
  • – Preparation of papers, presentations etc. of all meetings for GM Central
  • – Vetting of all approvals granted by the GM Central for business expenditures
  • – Work closely with other Business Planning Managers within the Bank to ensure consistency of standards and maintain best practices
  • – Act as a coordinator for FIA and NAB on the behalf of Bank to ensure timely submission of data/record to the agencies in central region

Qualifications & Skills

  • – An MBA or equivalent, with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and good understanding of the financials.
  • – Good understanding of Bank products and organization structure, including issues, policies, control and compliance
  • – Good grasp of financials and strong operational awareness
  • – Confident and self-motivated, strong activator with an ability to get things done and influence people
  • – Good organizer and well structured to manage processes
  • – Excellent communication, both oral and written, and presentation skills
  • – Strong interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
  • – A team player who enjoys working with people on all levels as well as being able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
