About the department
Novo Nordisk Pakistan is looking for a Product Manager. The position is based in Karachi Pakistan and reporting to the Marketing Manager. Novo Nordisk Pakistan has around 195 plus engaged people all supporting our affiliates with challenges related to HR, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, IT and Legal.

Novo Nordisk Pakistan is part of Business Area Near East (BANE), which is representing one of the fastest growing and most dynamic business areas with significant future growth opportunities. It is one of Region International Operation’s (IO) six business areas consisting of 11 countries; Turkey, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine & Moldova. The business area office is located in Istanbul, Turkey.

The job
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for proactive development of marketing and promotional mix to meet brand objectives and customer needs. You will need to liaison with external agencies to deliver initiatives for brands. You will be responsible for optimum management of budget for brand(s) & delivery of sales targets for the assigned product(s). Understanding of relevant disease and market to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques/tools. Act as brand champion to create enthusiasm and focus internally and with external customers and agencies. Design innovative marketing campaigns that help sales team meet business objectives. Prepare annual / cyclic, action / brand plans to meet business objectives. Launch of new products in line with local strategy and regional approval. Regular field visits to build and maintain good relationship with KOLs and support to sales team. Provide product training on strategies and promotional campaign to MR & SM. Responsible for corporate visual identity implementation. Approval of promotional materials and collaborate for medico-marketing activities.

You have a degree or equivalent in Medical, Science, Marketing or Business qualification preferably from a high reputable university. For internal candidates preferably 1-3 years of Novo Nordisk sales management or 4-5 years of Field sales experience. For external candidates minimum 2 years of Product management experience. Incumbent should have a strong proven performance achievement record. High mobility inside the country is required. You should have a strong knowledge of Market, Product & Customer. Strong team building & leadership skill, Strong Interpersonal & Communication skill. Strong analytical & project management skills. You are strong in your written and verbal communication in English. You will be required to travel 12-15 percent of your job.
