Appendix L Position: HR Generalist Location: Karachi The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing all the HR operations and strategies within a company. The HR generalist oversees the administration of all employee related matters. HR Administration: • Maintain employee database, P – Files, HCMS Portal, HR Dashboard Reports. • Verify attendance records, update employee leave record and other details. • Assist in writing and forwarding all employee related letters. Recruitment: • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. • Post openings on different online recruitment portals. • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions. • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting • plans and implementation. • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. • Conduct prescreening interviews. • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data on the shared folder. • Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees. • Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters. • Assist in interviewing and selecting employees onsite. • Assist in preparing and sending offer packages. Onboarding: • Ensure end to end onboarding of new employees. • Conducting new employee orientation. • Completing employee P-file, update records on HCMS and sharing information with payroll. Employee Relations: • Interviews workers and discusses with personnel, human relations, and work-related problems that adversely affect morale, health, and productivity. • Evaluates and resolves human relations, labor relations, and work-related problems, and meets with management to determine appropriate action. • Explains and provides advice to workers about company and governmental rules, regulations, and procedures, and need for compliance. • Counsels employees regarding work, family, or personal problems. • Explains company compensation and benefit programs, such as medical, insurance, retirement, and savings plans, and enrolls workers in specified programs. Employee Separation: • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Skills Requirement: • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in HR • At least 2 years in HR Pracitces. • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills – very good command of both spoken and written English. • Research and report writing skills. • Good command on MS-Office • Experience in Business Writing Work Hours: • Flexible in working US – Central Time zone (PKT 03:00 PM to 12:00 AM): Monday to Friday. • Holidays are per US federal holidays.
