Degree in Human Resources Management, Business administration, or related subjects.
A minimum of ten years of experience. Solid knowledge of MS Office tools with advance knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access. Very good understanding of United Nations regulatory frameworks regarding recruitment. Previous experience with United Nations is an asset.
Under the direct supervision of the Programme Management Officer and overall supervision of the Representative, the Human Resources Officer will be assigned to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
Recruitment Compliance and Planning
•Implements COPAK HR strategies and policies,
•Structures, organizes and enforces the recruitment process according to the existing UN rules/procedures and work flows,
•Drafts and advertises terms of reference, facilitates selection tests/interview panels and negotiates contracts in coordination with UNDP and the UNODC Core Team.
•Develops and maintains an induction package for new staff members,
•Inducts new staff members and international/national consultants,
•Prepares and maintains all administrative documentation related to the recruitment process.
•Ensures full compliance with UN rules and regulations, UNDP policies, procedures and strategies; effective implementation of the internal control, proper design and functioning of the HR management system.
•Manages performance and career development of COPAK staff members,
•Coordinates training opportunities for staff members.
