Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy company, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Qualifications & Experience: Candidate should possess Bachelors degree in Engineering and preferably a Business Administration degree with at least 10 years relevant experience preferably in the Oil & Gas industry or other large manufacturing concerns with emphasis on handling foreign procurement. Candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and experience of ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc. Should be fully conversant with Supply Chain Best Practices and have knowledge of Pakistan Customs Tariff, HS Codes, SROs and CGOs, GOP Directives, etc.
Age: Should not exceed 40 years.
Responsibilities: Major responsibilities include planning, implementation and monitoring of all activities relating to procurement of goods, supplies and services from local/international sources. The position requires preparation of procurement plans / schedules in accordance with best material procurement practices in a cost effective and transparent manner. Other responsibilities include evaluation of vendor performance and creation of database in respect of price trends, lead time, duties, import taxes, etc. Knowledge of import tariffs, custom procedures and freight forwarding will be an essential requirement.
