Qualifications / Experience
– Must have five years post apprenticeship experience, in a civil aircraft –engineering environment as an aircrafttechnician.
– Should have completed an approved/ recognized apprenticeship on aircraft maintenance or formal training from an approved organization
– Must have thorough knowledge on technical skills, A/C systems, general servicing inspection techniques and safety practices.
– Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks on Emirates and third party aircraft in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations. He/She will work as part of a team under the direction and guidance of the assigned Licensed Aircraft Engineer within the trade disciplines for which they have been trained.
To carry out inspection, maintenance, repair, refurbishment and modifications on all EK aircrafts in accordance with the approved company procedures published in the EPM.
To replace damaged or defective parts and components where required.
Responsible for maintenance and serviceability of tools and equipment with knowledge of Bonded Stores procedures.
Completes thorough maintenance on transit checks
To follow shift pattern consisting of night and day shifts as per monthly roster to fulfill station and operational requirements.
Carries out refueling, wheel change, modifications, headset procedures etc as per company procedures.
